Day 1 of 266

So I am trying an experiment I am following the 266 blog and going to attempt to go back to her first day and follow her food and exercise plan today is day 1.
o.k here we go. Looks like I am starting off easy:) I have the menu planned out and just need to complete a 25 minute walk. I will report on my progress hopefully later

Heather, I really appreciate your kind words and I am definitely going to check out your blog later today. I would also encourage you though to tailor a program to suit your own needs - there are so many factors which are probably different between us that you really must take into consideration. Height, lifestyle, body type, free time, support systems, etc. I really am very happy you are so inspired, but please be sure that you are following a plan which is right for you! The key to this is sustainability and while I have had my challenges along the way, it hasn't been all that 'hard' for me. It is something which fits my life longterm and I hope that is something you are aiming for in your own program, rather than a duplicate of something that works for an entirely different individual. I am SO exicted for you that you are ready to start a new path and I will definitely be here to cheer you on! I have no doubt that you, and everyone who sets their mind to losing weight, can do it!!! I was a little rushed when I originally posted this as I was heading out the door (but wanted to make sure you got a reply right away) so I would also like to add a couple of things... First, I really hope you seek out the advice of a medical professional. Honestly, I can't think of a better guide to help you through such a transistion to a fitter you than someone who has your health as their main concern. Second, I truly am flattered that you want to follow my path and I think the best way for you to take something from my personal experiences is to incorporate cleaner eating and more movement into your day in ways that work for you. I think the basis of what I am doing really is a surefire way to lose the weight in a sustainable manner, but I still very much want to make sure that you make it your own. Do what is right for YOU! I still wish you the very best of luck and I will be checking in to see how you are developing and evolving your program. I can't wait to see all the great changes that are sure to be coming your way!!!
